Heat Wave!
Due to a predicted heat wave, students may wear their PE uniforms every day this week. Please be sure to send a water bottle with your child as well!

Welcome to First Grade!
It's hard to believe we've made it to August already and the first day of school is quickly approaching! I want to take this opportunity to welcome all of our new first graders and their families. I'm looking forward to a new year full of learning, playing, growing, and loving, and I hope you are too! Ms. Cuellar and I are looking forward to seeing you all on Thursday, August 17th! Enjoy these last few weeks of summer!

Crossroads Visitors
We had some special visitors this morning. Some high school students who are in a Spanish class at Crossroads came to visit. Each student had written a children's book in Spanish for their class, and they came to share their books with our class. They read the books in Spanish and translated each page for our students. Each student in our class got to hear and see several different books. It was a very fun and creative learning experience!
