Philadelphia!

After our Blended Learning meeting, Mrs. Renteria and I had time to go visit an important historical landmark and see an important symbol of freedom that we learned about this year.  Whisper the name of this landmark or symbol to me (privately so others don't hear your answer!) to get an extra sticker or two for your sticker chart!

Protections in Science

First Grade has been learning about animal and plant protections over the past couple of weeks. This week students got to design their own protection that would prevent someone from stealing an Easter egg from inside their backpack. Students had a lot of fun coming up with creative inventions!

St. Patrick's Day Fun

First Grade had fun making wish rainbows, writing about who is worth more than gold to us, graphing Lucky Charms, and, of course, learning about St. Patrick!
