Happy Halloween!

We had a wonderful time with our Halloween celebrations today! Thank you to the families who helped prepare the crafts for students and to those who volunteered time to help at our party. The students enjoyed their afternoon of crafting, bowling, coloring, dancing, and reading!

Pizza Party!

Thanks again for all of your donations of school supplies for the Girl Scouts! We had fun at our Pizza Party today! 

Red Ribbon Week

Our class had a short introduction to Red Ribbon Week today.  We watched these videos and discussed  the questions that they bring up, so feel free to take a look so we're all on the same page.   Students will receive a red ribbon next week that they can wear every day if they'd like.

Halloween Art

We've been working hard on some fun Halloween art projects to make our classroom look spoooooky!

Addition War

We've been practicing addition facts by playing addition war when we finish our math work early.  All you need is a deck of cards.  Ask your child to teach you how to play if you'd like to practice facts at home!

Rhythm and Beats in Music Class

First Grade was so excited to have their first music class with Ms. Jan today! We'll be having Music class every Thursday from now on.  

A Few Notes

Parents/Guardians-
A few notes that didn't make it into the folder today:

1. Wednesday, 9/10, we will have a Dollar Free Dress Day to raise money for ALS Awareness.  Students may bring in $1.00 (or more!) and wear free dress that day.  The class that brings in the most money will get to dump a bucket of ice water on a teacher's head.  If the whole school raises more than $500 students will get to dump a bucket of ice water on Mr. Browning's head!

2. Graded/Corrected work didn't make it into today's F.I.S.H. folder.  Keep a look out for that tomorrow!
