Picasso Frankensteins

We made Picasso-style cubist Frankensteins in Art this week. Some of the students completed their project and exclaimed, "It's aliiiive! It's aliiiiive!"  They're a clever bunch!

You can also see some of our pink free dress.  Thank you to those who participated and helped raise money for breast cancer research.

Mealworms in PS Science

We have some new class pets!  Today in PS Science we learned that living things grow and change by observing some mealworms!  The mealworms will stay in our class for a few weeks so we can see more of their life cycle. Feel free to come take a peek!

Living vs. Nonliving Things

We had fun exploring living vs. nonliving things today in PS Science.  Students got to collect 5 items from outside and then sort them into living and nonliving groups.

Students also got to use magnifying glasses to observe and compare two containers- one of which they found held living brine shrimp and one of which held nonliving sand.

STAR Early Literacy

Congratulations to the students who showed growth on their STAR Early Literacy test today!

And to the students who met their goal for the day!
