Drought Activities

We start PS Science with Ms. Gigi next Tuesday (yay!), but in the meantime we've been doing a few science lessons on our own in class.  We've talked about states of matter, reviewed the water cycle, and yesterday we talked about the ever-important topic of DROUGHT.

We did a few activities from this website, but unfortunately didn't have time to do them all since there's so much!  If you're interested in talking to your child about water or if your child wants to continue with some of the activities we didn't have time to complete then feel free to check out this website.  I recommend the "Use Water Wisely" and "We All Use Water" tabs for some interactive learning about ways we use water.

Congratulations to our students of the month for August!

Red, White, and Blue Day

Our class was very patriotic today in our red, white, and blue free dress. Students also got to make flag hearts in art and write a little bit about what makes them proud to be an American. 

Social Studies Unit 1 Study Guide
