Homework and Communication

Welcome to our first full week!

Homework: This week we will only have Math homework.  Students should still be reading every night, but they do not need to write on a Reading Log.  I'll be going over the homework routine with you next week at Back to School Night, so we'll begin the regular homework assignments after that.

Communication:  As noted in today's newsletter, F.I.S.H. folders and planners will also start going home after Back to School Night.  If you need to get in touch with me before then you can put a note in your child's backpack or send an email to jandric@saintanneschool.com.

The Final Countdown

Hello!  Hello!  Hello!

I cannot believe that in only THREE MORE DAYS I get to meet the fabulous first graders of Saint Anne School.  I hope you've all been enjoying the summer and that you've been reading lots of good books.  If you haven't yet completed your Summer Reading assignment make sure you do that this week.  It's available on the school website.  I'm looking forward to hearing all about the wonderful things you did this summer when we see each other later this week. Remember, school starts this Thursday, August 14th at 8:00 a.m.  There is noon dismissal on Thursday and Friday, and parents are welcome to stay for the Welcome Coffee on Thursday morning.
